Huntington Station shooting leaves man injured

HUNTINGTON STATION, Long Island (WABC) -- Police are investigating a shooting on Long Island Thursday night.

Around 11:45 p.m., a 22-year-old man was sitting in his car on East 20th Street in Huntington Station when he was shot in the shoulder.

He drove himself to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigating is continuing.
