Nassau County bars to announce free car service for St. Patrick's Day

NASSAU COUNTY, Long Island (WABC) -- Long Island businesses are teaming up to prevent drunk driving.

A group of Nassau County bars and restaurant plans to announce a free car service for St. Patrick's Day.

They will provide complimentary taxi rides to any customers who want one.

They want to deter people drinking on the holiday from driving while intoxicated.
