NJ Transit equipment train derails near Summit

SUMMIT, New Jersey (WABC) -- A New Jersey Transit work train derailed near Summit early Wednesday morning.

The equipment train experienced a slow speed derailment before 6 a.m.

The Gladstone Branch is suspended in both directions between Murray Hill and Summit.

Substitute bus service is scheduled to operate between those stops.
