BRONX, N.Y. (WABC) -- New York City police are looking for two men who attacked a traffic enforcement agent who was issuing a parking ticket in the Bronx Monday.
The incident occurred at about 4:40 p.m. near the corner of West Burnside Davidson avenues. The NYPD said the car, a gray 2014 Chevy Cruze with New York license plates, was illegally parked in front of a fire hydrant.
Investigators said that as the agent was writing the ticket, two men walked up and began to argue with the agent. The men then punched the agent in the head before taking off in the illegally-parked car. They headed north on Davidson Avenue.
The agent had a head injury as a result of the assault, and was taken to St. Barnabus Hospital for treatment. He's in stable condition.
Here are the descriptions of the attackers, as released by NYPD:
Suspect #1 is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 5'6" tall, 200 pounds, with a light complexion, short black hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black and white t-shirt with a camouflage pattern, white and black shorts and white sneakers.
Suspect #2 is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 5'5, 190 pounds, with a light complexion and a bald head. He was last seen wearing black sun glasses, a black t-shirt with a white logo on the front, black shorts and white sneakers.
