NYPD searches for suspect after man slashed, stabbed near Times Square
MIDTOWN MANHATTAN (WABC) -- A man was slashed and stabbed a few blocks from Times Square overnight.
The 30-year-old victim was slashed in the neck and stabbed in the back during a dispute at Seventh Avenue and West 40th Street at around 1:50 a.m. on Wednesday.
The injured man was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition
One person was taken into custody, but a second suspect is still being sought.
Police describe the suspect as a man wearing a black jacket and khaki pants.
