17-year-old girl, man shot in East New York McDonald's parking lot
EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A 17-year-old girl and a 19-year-old man are recovering after they were shot in a McDonald's parking lot in Brooklyn late Monday night, police said.
The shooting happened just before midnight outside the fast-food restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York.
Police said the teen girl was struck several times in the parking lot. A 19-year-old man was also shot. They were taken to Brookdale University Hospital, where both are listed in stable condition.
An 18-year-old man fell on his face while running away and was also treated for injuries.
Investigators have not said what led to the shooting, and no arrests were immediately made.
Police are searching for the gunman as the investigation continues.
