2 firefighters injured after Brooklyn pizzeria goes up in flames

CONEY ISLAND, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Two firefighters were injured after a pizzeria went up in flames in Brooklyn on Friday night.

The fire erupted inside S&A Pizzeria on 2726 Mermaid Ave. between West 27 Street and West 28 streets just before 10:30 p.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The injured firefighters were taken to Coney Island Hospital with minor injuries.
