Fire rips through Bronx home, injuring four people

COUNTRY CLUB, Bronx (WABC) -- A smoky second-alarm fire burned through a home in the Country Club section of the Bronx overnight.

Firefighters battled flames and frigid conditions as fire burned through a home on Dean Avenue just after 2:30 a.m.

141 fire and EMS personnel responded to the call, which came in just before 2 a.m.

Two firefighters with minor injuries were taken to a nearby hospital.

Two residents also received minor injuries.

One was taken to the hospital, the other was treated at the scene.

All are expected to recover.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
