2 hurt when fire burns through tavern, apartment in Ozone Park

OZONE PARK, Queens (WABC) -- Two people were hurt when a fire burned through a building in Queens.

The flames burned through Mike's Tavern on Liberty Avenue in Ozone Park just before 4 a.m. on Thursday.

They quickly spread to an apartment on the second floor.

Two people suffered injuries but are expected to recover.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
