2 killed in 7-vehicle crash on southbound Bronx River Parkway

OLINVILLE, Bronx (WABC) -- Two men were killed in a seven-vehicle crash on the Bronx River Parkway early Monday.

The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. and involved two mopeds and five cars.

Two men were ejected from their mopeds and pronounced dead at the hospital.

The victims were later identified as 21-year-old Enrique Martinez an 19-year-old Manuel Amarantepenalo, both of the Bronx.

Mauricio Neyra Yuyes, 21, of White Plains, was arrested on charges of vehicular manslaughter, driving while intoxicated and driving while ability impaired.

Police shut down the southbound lanes of the parkway near East Gun Hill Road in Olinville.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the crash.
