2-year-old seriously injured after falling out fifth-floor window in the Bronx

MOTT HAVEN, The Bronx (WABC) -- A toddler is in serious condition after falling out a fifth-floor building in the Bronx.

The incident occurred at a six-story brick building on Oak Terrace just after 6 p.m. Friday.

The FDNY says the two-year-old was alert and conscious as he was taken to the hospital.

Police took an adult into custody at the scene.
