3 police officers injured after NYPD van overturns in East Harlem

EAST HARLEM, Manhattan (WABC) -- Three police officers are recovering after an NYPD van overturned onto its side in Manhattan on Sunday morning.

The incident happened around 4 a.m. near East 106th Street and Lexington Avenue.

According to the FDNY, the officers were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. They are all expected to be OK.

Authorities are now trying to determine what caused the vehicle to flip over.
