Dispute over dog leads to triple stabbing in Queens

LAURELTON, Queens (WABC) -- Officials say a dispute over a French bulldog urinating on a lawn resulted in three people stabbed in Queens on Thursday.

The dog owners, a 39-year-old man and a woman, were stabbed by a resident of the home on 229th Street, police say.

The resident's father, 62, attempted to intervene and was also stabbed.

All three went to Jamaica Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 34-year-old suspect is in custody and charges are pending.

A knife was recovered at the scene.
