4-alarm fire burns through several apartments buildings in Norwood, Bronx

NORWOOD, Bronx (WABC) -- Two people were injured as firefighters battled a four-alarm fire at an apartment building in the Norwood section of the Bronx Thursday morning.

The fire broke out at 3435 Dekalb Ave., between Kossuth Avenue and East 208th Street before 6 a.m.

Officials say the fire started on the top floor and spread to the cockloft of the building.

The response has grown from a third to a fourth alarm as firefighters continue battling the blaze.
