Man wanted for groping woman in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN (WABC) -- Police are searching for a man accused of groping two women near the Prospect Avenue train station in Brooklyn, and they're hoping surveillance video will lead to an arrest.

Authorities say that on Tuesday, August 5 at approximately 11:30 p.m., a 28-year-old woman was walking from the train station, which is located on Prospect Avenue and 4th Avenue. As she reached 17th Street and headed toward 5th Avenue, the suspect grabbed her buttocks from underneath her skirt.

He then fled toward 5th Avenue.

Then, on tuesday, August 19 at approximately the same time, a 25-year-old woman was walking from the train station. As she reached her residence, which is in the vicinity of the station, the suspect came up from behind and grabbed her buttocks before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-6 to to 5-foot-9 and weighing 130 pounds, with a medium complexion and short hair.
