Brooklyn pizzeria gets 7 On Your Side after discovering money missing from online app orders
BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A mom-and-pop pizza shop in Brooklyn Heights recently discovered a lot of money missing from their online app orders. When they couldn't get their money back, they called 7 On Your Side's Nina Pineda to deliver some help.
The Cira family has been serving up slices at Pronto Pizza for the last 15 years. Their small business has fed the neighborhood - and their children. The business now relies on a number of ordering and delivery services to move their slices out the door - Uber Eats was one of their first apps they installed. It provided a steady stream of revenue until they noticed a big drop.
