EAST FLATBUSH (WABC) --
The 13-year old Brooklyn boy recovering after being shot in the head went back to the hospital where he recovered Saturday to talk about violence in the community.

Gama Droiville is speaking at Kings County Hospital's community advisory board meeting, joining representatives of the "Kings Against Violence Initiative".

The teen, who was shot last month while waiting for a bus in Brooklyn, is delivering an anti-violence message.

The Kings Against Violence Initiative fosters violence intervention and prevention strategies, targeting young men and women who are patients of the hospital. In addition, KAVI has a school-based program which focuses on prevention, mentoring and personal development strategies for at-risk youth.

On Thursday night, Gama made a special appearance at the Subway Series, joining his school choir to sign the national anthem at Citi Field.

The suspect in the shooting of the teen, 21-year-old Kareem Potomont, of New York, is charged with two counts each of attempted murder, assault, possession of a firearm, criminal use of a firearm and reckless endangerment.

Gama was waiting for the bus with his aunt and cousin outside of a pizza shop when the shots rang out. The aunt and cousin weren't harmed.

"My cousin said he saw two people arguing, but I didn't see anything," Droiville said. "Then they pulled out guns and started shooting at each other. And I think one of their bullets hit me above my right eye, and I fell to the ground."
