
A line of fast-moving storms led to flooding in parts of New York City and New Jersey on Sunday morning.
Flooding near Exit 5 of the Clearview Expressway in Queens trapped two cars.
The drivers were able to safely make it out of their vehicles with help from the FDNY.
Lanes of the Brooklyn Queens Expressway and Long Island Expressway were closed for a time.
In Newark, firefighters responded to calls of cars stuck in the area of Frelinghuysen Avenue and Meeker Avenue.
Firefighters used an inflatable raft to safely rescue three drivers.
