FDNY and NYPD battle it out during hot dog eating contest on Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND (WABC) -- There's another hot dog eating contest in town!

The FDNY and NYPD battled on Saturday during the inaugural Staten Island Hot Dog Eating contest.

They competed against each other in teams of three. The contest was a tie, with each team eating 15 of the franks in ten minutes.

There was also a team from the supermarket where the contest took place. They ate 21 hot dogs.
