Funeral held for 10-year-old drowning victim

Milian Dulia and her friend were swept away by the Passaic River.

PATERSON, New Jersey (WABC) -- An emotional service was held Saturday in New Jersey to say goodbye to a 10-year-old girl who drowned in the Passaic River.

The funeral service for Milian Dula was held at Grace Chapel Baptist Church in Paterson.

Dula and her friend and classmate at Garfield Public School #6, Mikey Klenk Jr., died last month after being swept into the water while playing by a boat ramp.

Dula's family says in her short life, the talented and inquisitive girl taught them how to love unconditionally and find beauty in simple things.
