Harlem's 125th Street Business Improvement District reveals plans for Parade of Lights

HARLEM, Manhattan (WABC) -- A favorite local New York City holiday tradition got a big announcement on Thursday night.

Harlem's 125th Street Business Improvement District revealed plans for this year's Parade of Lights.

Eyewitness News reporter Chantee Lans helped announce that it will take place on Tuesday, November 18.

Grand marshals include actor Malik Yoba, and in a bold move, the Apollo Theater.

On Thursday night, the Reverend Michael Walrond of First Corinthian Baptist Church was given the group's legacy award.
