Long Island College Hospital gets another reprieve

BROOKLYN (WABC) -- Another reprieve for Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn which will remain open for now, even though it was scheduled to close today.

SUNY says it continue providing walk-in emergency services as it negotiates the sale of the facility in Cobble Hill.

But ambulances will be directed to other hospitals.

A group led by the Peebles Corporation and North Shore LIJ are offering a quarter billion dollars for the hospital.
