MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- A man is facing charges after police say he assaulted a mother and her infant child in a stroller at Bryant Park on Saturday.
It happened just before 10 a.m. near 41st Street and Sixth Avenue.
A 39-year-old woman was pushing her baby daughter in a stroller when they were approached by a man they did not know.

The 49-year-old suspect threw a phone at the infant and hit her in the arm, police say.
Officials say the man then threw the phone at the mother but missed her.
The victims refused medical attention at the scene and the man was placed under arrest.
He was later identified as Marc Okon and is facing charges of assault, endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment.
