Man pulls himself on to subway platform after being shoved on to tracks in Midtown
A suspect was arrested for pushing a man on to the subway tracks in Midtown.

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- A man is under arrest after a 72-year-old man was pushed from behind onto the subway tracks in Midtown early Wednesday morning.

He was pushed from behind while waiting at the northbound F and D platform at the 47-50th St Rockefeller Center station just before 4 a.m.

The victim was able to pull himself back onto the platform and was taken to Mount Sinai West Hospital.

He was said to be stable but dislocated his shoulder.

Francisco Garcia, 40, was taken into custody and charged with assault and reckless endangerment.
