Man killed in shooting at cookout in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE (WABC) --
Police are investigating a shooting at a cookout in Brooklyn that killed a 26-year old man.

Shots rang out just after 2 o'clock Sunday morning at 281 Powell Street in the Brownsville section.

The victim, identified as Donnell Smith, was shot in the head, and pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital.
