Mamdani forms PIT Crew to deploy technologists to advance efficiency
NEW YORK (WABC) -- The Mamdani administration is forming the Public Interest Technology Crew, AKA the PIT Crew.
It will travel across city agencies and deploy technologists to advance government efficiency.
They will begin their work by supporting Click-to-Cancel protections.
Click-to-Cancel is a new citywide rule that bars businesses from making it difficult for people to cancel subscriptions announced by the mayor on Friday.
The mayor was set to explain the specifics of the announcement in a news conference at 9:45 a.m. Monday.
