NEW JERSEY (WABC) -- Nine New Jersey lottery players cashed in with big secondary prizes on Wednesday night as the Powerball jackpot reached $1.7 billion, the third highest in U.S. history.

The numbers drawn on Wednesday were 3, 16, 29, 61, 69 and the Power Ball was 22. The Multiplier was 2.

No player matched all five white balls and the gold Power Ball; however, 8 NJ players matched 4 white balls, to each won $50,000.

One player matched four white balls, the Power Ball, and the multiplier to win $100,000.

On Monday, two players won $1 million.

The million-dollar tickets were sold in Milford and Clifton, New Jersey.

Since May 31, 1.6 million NJ residents have won prizes.

The next drawing is Saturday and will be the 42nd, now the longest run in game history.
