NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- The Department of Sanitation is celebrating the Knicks' championship win by giving away five commemorative blue-and-orange trash bins.
The giveaway announcement follows a viral video of a woman dumping garbage from a Knicks-themed trash can and walking off with it.
"Fouling up our sidewalks and stealing public property should always be out of bounds in New York City," DSNY Commissioner Gregory Anderson said. "There is no need to lift bins off the street."

Winners will be selected randomly and will be announced later this summer. Residents 18 and older can enter online before 5 p.m. on July 3.
The baskets are the same full-size baskets the Department of Sanitation uses on the streets.
