MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- The iconic Lord and Taylor building in Midtown is receiving a makeover in hopes of making it into a premiere food destination.
The 35,000-square-foot dining and entertainment venue called Shaver Hall opens Friday night.
It features 11 chef-curated eateries, three full-service restaurants and two bars.
There's even a 200-foot cheese conveyor belt at the restaurant Pick & Cheese.
"All of the restaurants that we have, we just have something for everyone, if you want a particular kind of cuisine, we have it here," said Amazon regional manager Smitha Rao. "So you can expect to have great food and entertainment."
Amazon acquired the Lord and Taylor building in 2020 for more than $1 billion. It's now the company's largest corporate office in New York.
