Teen fatally shot outside Williamsburg home
WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (WABC) -- An 18-year-old man was fatally shot outside his Williamsburg home Wednesday night.
Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting shortly before 10 p.m. in front of 160 Havemeyer St. When officers arrived, they found an 18-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the face and torso, police said.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was pronounced dead. Police identified the victim as Jayden Velasquez, 18, of Brooklyn.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers hotline.
