Pedestrian struck and killed by hit-and-run driver in Hackensack

HACKENSACK, New Jersey (WABC) -- Police in New Jersey are investigating a deadly hit and run in Hackensack on Friday morning.

It happened just before 1 a.m. near Essex Street and Summit Avenue.

Authorities say the victim was found in the roadway with serious injuries and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
