Police search for USPS driver after man killed in Hell's Kitchen hit-and-run
Krista McNally has more from Hell's Kitchen.

HELL'S KITCHEN, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police arrested the U.S. Postal Service employee who was involved in a deadly hit and run in Hell's Kitchen.

Investigators charged James Simmons, 61, of Queens with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.

Police say he struck a 66-year-old man on Ninth Avenue early Saturday morning while driving a postal service box truck.

The victim was crossing the street in the middle of the block when the truck hit him.

The victim's identity has not been released at this time. Police say he was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
