CANADENSIS, Pa -- Pennsylvania State Police say a sighting of accused cop killer Eric Frein near a school is being treated as 'Highly Credible.'
In a news conference on Saturday afternoon, Col. George Bivens said the sighting happened on Friday night near Pocono Mountain East High School.
The person was possibly carrying a rifle and had mud on his face, Bivens said.
Col. Bivens also said blood has been found in the search and is being tested for a possible connection to Eric Frein.
Police are now focusing the manhunt, slightly south in the Paradise and Poconos areas.
Gov. Corbett also at the news conference thanked residents for their patience and other police agencies for their help in the Erin Frein search.
