1 fatally stabbed at Linden, NJ restaurant

LINDEN, NJ (WABC) -- Detectives are investigating after man was killed in a stabbing at a TGI Fridays in Linden Sunday night.

Officers responded to reports of a fight at the restaurant on S. Park Ave just before 10:00 p.m.

When they arrived on the scene officers found the victim lying on the ground unresponsive from an apparent stab wound.

The victim was transported to Newark University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

No arrests were immediately made.
