Police search for gunman after man shot in Greenwich Village

GREENWICH VILLAGE, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police are searching for a man wanted in a shooting in Greenwich Village early Saturday.

A 41-year-old man was shot in the stomach before 1 a.m. along LaGuardia Place.

He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The motive for the shooting is unclear.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
