Man shot in chest in Harlem; Search on for suspect

HARLEM, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police are investigating after man was shot in the chest and killed on Tuesday afternoon.

The 23-year-old victim was shot in the chest near West 125th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard around 3:45 p.m.

He was taken to Mount Sinai St. Lue's in critical condition where he was later pronounced dead.

The suspect ran away from the scene and was last seen wearing a bubble jacket and sweatpants.

The details surrounding the shooting were not yet known.

No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
