NASSAU COUNTY (WABC) -- A woman accused of driving drunk and causing a deadly crash on the Southern State Parkway over the weekend has pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutors say Diana Kutateladze, 36, was driving 70 mph and her blood alcohol content was .10, which is above the legal limit.
They say she admitted to having a whiskey and coke before getting behind the wheel.
Authorities say she crossed the center median, drove in the wrong direction and slammed into several vehicles in Lakeview on Sunday night.
A couple in their 80s was killed and several other people were hurt.
Kutateladze is facing several charges, including aggravated vehicular homicide.
She was wheeled into her arraignment in Hempstead on Tuesday in a wheelchair.
She was held without bail and her license is suspended.
