USPS to honor late President Jimmy Carter with Forever stamp

ATLANTA, Georgia (WABC) -- It's a special honor for the late President Jimmy Carter.

The U.S. Postal Service will issue a commemorative 'Forever' stamp honoring the nation's 39th president.

Carter died December 29, 2024, at the age of 100.

The new stamp will be issued beginning October 1 in Atlanta, on what would have been Carter's 101st birthday.
