Virtual red carpet for 'Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy'

FLATIRON (WABC) -- A virtual red carpet opened up a special portal to the stars Monday night in Manhattan.

Thanks to Skype, fans in Flatiron Plaza were able to connect with the stars of the upcoming movie "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy" out in Los Angeles.

There was even an online dance-off to win a pass into the screening later in the evening.

The children from the Police Athletic League got to talk to some of the stars of the movie including Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, and Zoe Saldana over Skype.

Marvel entertainment is owned by Disney, the parent company of WABC.
