When the temperatures rise, a perfect way to cool down is to whip up a smoothie.
Many are healthy, but sometimes the sweet treats can be deceiving, hiding extra sugar and calories. The fruit in smoothies packs on calories, but adding greens and vegetables are a low-calorie option.
Joining us with some ideas on perfect summer smoothies was Dale Williams, owner of the Tasti D-Lite & Planet Smoothie in Montclair, N.J.
