World Series Odds: Yankees remain favorites, Mets tops to win NL
The Los Angeles Dodgersopened the season as favorites to win the World Series and finished the regular season season that way, but as their series with theSan Diego Padreshas now reached the decisive Game 5, things are a bit up in the air.
The Dodgers (+350) have the best odds of any NL team to win the World Series, but it's the upstartNew York Mets, who eliminated thePhiladelphia Phillieson Wednesday, that currently have the best odds (+140) to take home the NL pennant.
Meanwhile, the New York Yankeeswon their ALDS battle against theKansas City Royalson Thursday and, with that win, once again hold the role of favorites (+165) to celebrate with champagne come November.
Los Angeles will host San Diego for their Game 5 on Friday night. TheCleveland Guardians host the Detroit Tigerson Saturday to finish off the divisional round of the playoffs.
