UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) -- A man is hospitalized after being stabbed Thursday afternoon on Manhattan's Upper West Side.
It happened at 88th Street and Columbus Avenue just after 5 p.m.
A police source tells Eyewitness News the incident stemmed from a robbery in which an electronic device was stolen from the 33-year-old man, who resisted and was stabbed in the upper back.
The victim was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to EMS.
The suspect fled the scene.
