Among the players placed on unconditional waivers for buyout purposes were Devils forwards Michael Cammalleri and Devante Smith-Pelly, Panthers forward Jussi Jokinen, Bruins forward Jimmy Hayes, Jets defenseman Mark Stuart, and Flames forward Lance Bouma.
