Scott Peterson was convicted in 2004 of killing his wife and unborn child.
20 years after he was convicted of killing his pregnant wife, Laci, Scott Peterson is asking for a new trial.
"To dump his wife's body in broad daylight. It just defies logic," said Scott's sister-in-law, Janey Peterson.
"I think given the fact that it's been 15 years, he's been extraordinarily patient but the day has come now finally, and he is going to get his chance to be heard again," says Scott Peterson's attorney.
