Pedestrian fatally struck on JFK Expressway at Kennedy Airport

JAMAICA, Queens (WABC) -- A pedestrian was fatally struck on JFK Expressway at Kennedy Airport in Queens Monday morning.

The pedestrian was struck on the roadway, near Federal Circle, just after 4:30 a.m.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Luggage was found nearby.

Traffic to the airport terminals was delayed because of the diversion around the crash.
