WABC's Joe Torres accepts 'Rafael Eli Award for Pioneers in Hispanic Television'

On Monday WABC's very own Joe Torres was honored in Midtown.

Joe was awarded the 'Rafael Eli Award for Pioneers in Hispanic Television.'

Joe hosts Eyewitness News' public affair show 'Tiempo' each week.

The Hispanic Television Awards recognizes people and programs that evolve the business of television for Hispanic audiences worldwide.

The annual award is presented at the Hispanic Television Summit to honor individuals who have made significant, long-standing contributions to the Hispanic television industry.

Joe said he was honored and emotional to accept the award.
