Thunderstorms bring water spouts to Long Island
Several water spouts were seen in the waters off Westhampton as heavy storms rolled through Saturday

RONKONKOMA, Long Island (WABC) -- Strong thunderstorms brought wind, rain and hail to Long Island Saturday, and water spouts were even spotted off the South Shore.

Small hail fell in the Ronkonkoma area, and Josh Timlin took video of the spectacle.

A flood advisory was in effect for parts of Suffolk County, with poor drainage facing the threat of minor flooding.

At risk areas included Centereach, Shirley, Medford, Ronkonkoma, Patchogue, Holbrook, Sayville, Farmingville, Mastic, Yaphank, Davis Park, Brookhaven National Laboratory, East Patchogue, Lake Ronkonkoma and Selden.
