NEW YORK (WABC) -- Kids are giving their brains a break, and getting up on their feet in the classroom, thanks to a new initiative by Zumba fitness.
The goal is to increase physical activity for at least two million children in schools across the country.
Joining us to demonstrate were Holly Stephenson, from Go-Noodle, a free online tool for educations, and Kristin Nunez, from PS 128 Audubon School in Washington Heights.
The Zumba Kids "brain breaks" are short, interactive dance-themed breaks that take place throughout the school day.
