Cuomo to propose final offer to expand cab pickups

It could be the end of the road for Mayor Michael Bloomberg's plan to expand outer-borough taxi service.

The Daily News is reporting that Governor Andrew Cuomo will make a final offer on a plan to expand the medallion program.

That would allow livery cab drivers to pick up street hails in some areas.

Cuomo has threatened to veto the bill if the cabs are not handicapped accessible.
