SAN ANTONIO -- Sugar Rodgers scored 22 points and Tina Charles added 21 to help the New York Liberty beat the San Antonio Stars 90-75 on Saturday night.

The Liberty (5-4), fourth in the AP WNBA power poll, rebounded from their worst loss of the season on Tuesday against Los Angeles to beat an overmatched Stars squad. San Antonio, 11th in the poll, lost its fourth in a row and fell to 1-7.

New York led by one after three quarters, 62-61, but turned it on in the fourth. A 10-point run, capped by Shavonte Zellous' jumper with 6:11 to go, put the Liberty up 74-64. She finished with 11 points.

Astou Ndour led San Antonio with a career-high 18 points and nine rebounds, while Kayla McBride added 15.

Swin Cash, who announced her retirement earlier this week in her 15th season, scored eight points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Liberty.
